Our last article showed you three ways to evaluate whether or not you have a money maker, and if you are in the NC unemployment system being paid unemployment, you are reading the right article. Today’s article details what to avoid when evaluating your money maker. If you are currently getting North Carolina unemployment and need to make money from home, be sure you find an opportunity that is a true money maker. Just as there are traits of business opportunities to which you should gravitate, there are also traits that should make you run. The goal is to help you work with a money maker and get out of the North Carolina unemployment system.
The first trait is easy to spot. I call it the “Rah Rah Syndrome.” If you go to a meeting or hear a presentation and all you hear is hype about money and promotions, please run! A true money maker will be realistic, let you know that work is involved. Companies with the Rah Rah Syndrome yank your emotions and deliver no substance. I avoid everything that seems too hypish: loud clapping or cheers on conference calls, fast talking people who want to rush my decision, huge and unrealistic income claims that drive me to overwork in pursuit of winning the prize or the trip, etc. Avoid hype at all costs! Look for a solid, stable, down to earth company. You want out of North Carolina unemployment, not deeper money problems!
The second trait is just as easy to spot. If you hear constant claims of earning $5K per month in your first month, tuck tail and run! I am not saying that this is impossible because some people do achieve this kind of income in their first month on occasion; however, the norm is that that kind of money can take 6 months to a year to earn on a monthly basis. A true money maker operates and makes claims based on reality and averages, not on the random superstar who knows everyone and can sell anything at any time. Most people have to learn what to do to earn money every month. A real money maker operates based on this.
When trying to get out of the North Carolina unemployment system, the last trait of a company to avoid is this: any company whose income earning leaders aren’t accessible. If you cannot speak to an income earner and the person enrolling you is the only person you can find, this is a red flag. You should be able to check out the company, and you should be able to check out its top income-producers. You always can with a money maker. Accept no less than this standard. It will save you time and heartache as you work from home.
Today you learned what you should avoid in your search to get out of the North Carolina unemployment system and find a true money maker. Working from home is wonderful, but you need the right company. Avoid: the Rah Rah Syndrome/excessive company hype; avoid claims of high initial monthly incomes; avoid companies with no leadership visibility. If even if two of these are present, you might want to avoid getting involved. Ignoring this could cause you to need North Carolina unemployment longer than necessary. You want to work from home and you need a money maker. You deserve to be able to do just that. Take your time. Search well. Ask good questions, and when you find it, get to work! I hope this has been helpful to you!
